In the multiplayer-focused Battlefield 1942, players are given the power and tools to affect the outcomes of key battles of WWII. With the ability to control over 35 authentic Axis and Allied vehicles from a first person perspective and select from five player classes, they are faced with incredible choices in their plan of action. Among a vast array of available options, players can choose to heroically storm or defend the beaches of Normandy, direct artillery or command a tank at Kursk, pilot a fighter or operate shore battery at Midway, command an aircraft carrier or jeep at Gaudalcanal, and take charge of a bomber or an APC in Tobruk - experiencing some of the most dramatic moments of WWII. The game will be available for the PC in summer 2002.

Battlefield 1942 will support up to 64 players and give them the ability to fully experience World War II combat. Playing as several infantry classes, gamers will also be able to control many weapons available to the Axis and Allies as well as command numerous land vehicles, ships and aircraft. With larger craft such as a bomber or battleship, the game will allow players to choose what stations they serve - pilot, gunner, bombardier, etc. Proper use and management of each vehicle will determine the success or failure of each battle.

Battlefield 1942 will also feature incredibly large and detailed maps - up to four kilometers -- that allow players to strategize a variety of battle plans. The fighting in Battlefield 1942 takes place in the most famous and pivotal battles of the Second World War from Europe, Pacific, Eastern Europe and North Africa. Over 16 maps from these four theaters of WWII will be included. The game uses a proprietary engine named the Refractor 2, the most robust 3D rendering engine available and fully fleshes out the action.

Though multiplayer experience will be the focus of Battlefield 1942, there will be a mode of unique single player action. These levels feature advanced artificial intelligence with no scripting, meaning players will get a completely different experience each time they play.

* Control over 35 authentic WWII vehicles ships and aircraft including tanks, fighters, bombers, jeeps and battleships from first person perspective.
* Five different character classes - assault, medic, scout, anti-tank, engineer -- with unique strengths and weaknesses.

Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World is a video game for the PlayStation 2 based on the anime and manga series Dragon Ball. The game was developed by Dimps and published in North America by Atari and in Europe and Japan by Namco Bandai under the Bandai label. It was released in North America on November 4, 2008, in Japan on December 4, 2008, in Europe on December 5, 2008. It is the last Dragon Ball Z game to be released on the PlayStation 2 console.[1]

The game is a fighting game, the player pits their character against other characters controlled by the in game AI or by another player, which depends on the mode that the player or players are in. The Dragon Mission game mode features other gameplay elements, making the gameplay less linear. Within a week of the game's initial release in Japan, it sold 76,452 units. The game received mixed reviews, with some of video games publications commenting on the similarites between other games from Dragon Ball Z.

The Lord of the Rings: Conquest puts players into the thick of the tremendous battle over The One Ring, playing out battles from both sides of the confrontation! Conquest will let players take control of many of the characters and creatures from the series and pit them on any of the franchise's famous battlefields.

From Cave-trolls to Oliphaunts to the Balrog and even Sauron, practically the entire universe will be available for battle with up to 150 characters on-screen at any one time. Up to 16 players will be able to clash online, with four players able to play cooperatively through the main campaign either online or via four-player split-screen. And with two distinct campaigns to play through, including an original take on what would happen if Sauron regained control of the One Ring, the game promises plenty of scenarios to wage battle through.

Staying true to the novel, players will step on to the lavish, richly appointed train that departs Istanbul hurtling toward Paris. The train is filled with passengers, one of whom is the high profile Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. A passenger recognizes him, asks for protection, but is turned down. The next day that individual is found dead.

Players take on the role of Antoinette Marceau, a new character, who works alongside Poirot to investigate the savage murder. With a train filled of suspects, Antoinette will need every tip that she can garner from Poirot in order to pinpoint the killer.

Alone in the Dark's attempts to break hardened video gaming cliches are obvious from the start. There are no inventory menus, ammo indicators, or health bars in either first- or third-person views--which you are free to switch between throughout. Your inventory is limited to what you can store in your rather capacious leather jacket, and it's accessed by looking down into it and seeing what you have stashed the various pockets and pouches sewn into the lining. Here you can not only see what items you have, but also work out how to combine them; if you've got a bottle of booze and a rag, you can make an instant Molotov cocktail, but add some tape and a box of ammo and you've got a much more powerful flying bomb.



The game opens in true survival horror fashion, with you waking up confused with no idea who you are or what's going on. Slowly the room comes into focus as you hear a conversation with references to various cultlike activities that are just coming to a head, but your vision soon blurs again--but this is corrected by simply closing your eyes. This mechanic continues for a small part of the first section as you slowly return to full consciousness, being dragged and ordered through an interior complex until you finally find a washbasin with a mirror, and start to get an idea of who you are and what's going on.
